Knee Pain Revealed

Today I found out I am a severe overpronator~

I have had moderate to severe low back pain , hip pain, buttock and Knee pain. I have always associated it with the abuse I have put my body through over the years of Martial arts.
Oddly enough, most of it could be associated with an old injury from a horse stepping on my foot as well as one leg being a bit shorter than the other...Of which I have learned the latter is quite normal.(So I guess I can't blame it on my parents)
I went to a specialty running store, was asked to walk to and fro(for a minute I was afraid I was being tested for edzachary disease). I was then told that I had the sever overpronation, fitted with a shoe that rivals the cost of my last Prada Heels, and promptly told to come back next week when they would be in.
Ummmm Hello, do they not realize this Sucking ass thing can be addictive. No matter how much ass you Suck, it seems you feel better after each ass sucking session and can't wait to actually suck more ass?!???!!! Wait you said??!!
Eh, I bought some arch supports, and hit the web in search of a sale. Of which I didn't find( it seems my most comfortable ass sucking attire is brand new and therefore no sale applies).
Oh well...Can't take it with you I guess...

Im actually looking forward to running in the new shoes to see if they make an impact in my endurance as well..

I was quite impressed to see that my shoulders went into alignment when I tried on the correct shoes.

amazing what you learn when you actually decide to take care of your body..hmmm

Day 4

Day 4...I actually wanted to run all day! Then when I did it...Yep , you guessed it ~~~ Sucked ASS!!

At least I am starting to feel my body crave athletic stimulation again~~

Day 3

Notice I didn't use the words suck or ass in the title today? Well its only because I am tired..LOL

Today I felt more winded and the run portion seemed harder than the first day. I started to get a bit discouraged but I know that you have good days and bad days. Not to mention I am still sick and hadn't eaten all day except a bagel early this morning.

Either way here I am day 3.

I just keep looking down at my legs, and thinking please look better by August !!

Sucking Ass Day 2

So today was pretty much like yesterday...

Feels like im being tortured ..LOL

Not really, honestly it feels good! I have learned that I like to run during the day. Daytime smells different than nighttime~
The air, the grass, even the pavement smells different during the day. Sounds weird I know but it energizes me, and thats the point of this whole exercise right?

Anyway ~ Day two down and yes it pretty much STILL sucks ASS ~

Cool Runnin

Cool Running.

So I have a friend .... She runs...Something I have tried and failed countless times for various reasons. Usually because running just flat out sucks ass.

I mean seriously, who does this for enjoyment?!

Hopefully, in a couple months the answer will be me.
This friend, turned me on to a couple running tools I was unaware of (probably because running sucks ass and I have never looked for like a how to guide on ass sucking).

The first tool is Cool Running.Com, and the Couch- to 5k-Running Plan. According to said ass sucking manual I should be running 5k (and not referring to it as ass sucking) in 2 months!

The second and more enjoyable, is that if you listen to audio books when you run, then you'll finish your run out of wanting to finish the chapter if nothing else. Makes perfect sense to me, and since I can never find time to read this will kill 2 birds with one stone.

So I started the program today and by April this time I should be running 5k.
I must say that while it still Sucked ass...it was worth it and I felt great when I was done, knowing I was on the road to a better body and a more active me!
